A poem for the month - June

Balancing Act

Once she tottered, quite unsteady,

grasped my finger, always ready

for the coming fall.

Now full of confidence, she dares

to stand on ledges, climb on chairs,

not afraid at all.

One day soon, I’m sure we’ll see her,

swinging from the chandelier.
